General Dynamic ionosphere detector (Dynasonde) contains a transmitter and two receivers, including antennas and a PC, and the operating frequency of 0.1 to 30 MHz. Transmitter can be repeated 100 times per second launch 60 μ s width of the pulse, and energy peak (peak power) Super 10 kW, a transmitter includes the expansion of W-300, not only can be directly used, and the twinkling of an eye power can reach 10 kW. Receiver is a two-phase (phase) arrived at the same time matching - inserted receiver, and because of the different signals and accept the use of different antennas (such as direction). The computer part consists of IBM compatible computer and analog - digital converter card (ADC card), two digital signal processing card (SKYTM cards), and Hutchison cards (clockgenerator card, CRAM card). Analog signals received from the receiver by ADC card digitization, and SKYTM card deal with these digital information (such as echo the decision), and CRAM card decision is the choice of the time and radar equipment control bus (device control bus, DIO)


The Antenna System of Chung-Li Dynadonde



The antenna system of Chung-Li dynasonde will set up on summer in 2003. The RX antenna is different to the other dynasonde. It is called “The Chung-Li Cross-WERPOL Receiving Array”. Below is the design of pulse set and antenna location.
